Marilyn “Pat” Rodriguez, 85, of Carmel, Indiana passed away June 20, 2018. She was born October 6, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to George and Mae (McGee) Roberts. She was graduated from Highland Park High School in 1951 and attended community college. Pat worked for the Packard Car Company after marrying her high school sweetheart in Detroit on September 17, 1954. The couple moved to Indianapolis in 1956. Pat was a talented artist and a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She worked at Indiana Pork Producers and Boehringer Mannheim after devoting her life to raising her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Jacinto “Jess” Rodriguez, sisters Betty Schumaker and Marialice Babb and her beloved twin Peggy White.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Suzan (Alan) Rodriguez-Fein, Mark (Ruth) Rodriguez, Scott Rodriguez and Sean (Alexia) Rodriguez, sister Una Mae Jones, grandchildren, Natalie (Ricky), Mark, Mark Tyler, Maggie, Nick, Elliott, Thomas Jacinto, Cosmo, Olivia and Zoe, and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will celebrate Pat’s life next month. Donations may be made to the Humane Society of Hamilton County.
